Free Roof for a Veteran Giveaway

Each year, the team at D&M Roofing and Siding accepts nominations for a veteran that is in need of a free roof. We aim to express our gratitude for the veterans in our community’s service, protection and support. There is so many different ways to give back, but here at D&M Roofing and Siding, we feel that if it wasn’t for the people that served our country, we wouldn’t be able to do the things that we get to do on a daily basis and run our company.

Meet the inspiration for our first ever Free Roof for a Veteran Giveaway, Ricky Cole! In 2018, Ricky received his free roof and since then, D&M Roofing and Siding has committed to donating a free roof to a deserving veteran each year.

In April of 2020, D&M Roofing and Siding installed a free roof for Mike Crecelius, Marines Corps veteran and current Fremont County Emergency Management Coordinator. Mike was nominated in 2019 by his wife and several others in his community. She said she thought he deserved the honor for all his hard work helping people in the region through the 2019 floods and other natural disasters. “

Meet the winner of our 3rd Annual Free Roof for a Veteran Giveaway, Troy Bostwick! Troy was a 3rd Battalion, 10th Marines from 1990-1994. He served during Desert Storm in 1991.

In 2021, D&M Roofing and Siding decided to build on our giveaway for a veteran and host a fundraiser at the Millard VFW Post 8334.

We were able to raise $8,160 for our community’s veterans through raffles, food, drinks and a silent auction. We are looking forward to continuing this tradition to support our local veterans and their families.
